Electrical Manager – 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the precise installation of electrical components for projects, including underground cabling, mod to mod wiring, combiner box terminations, and the DC collection system.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide drawing, constructability, and submittal reviews, ensuring that the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship aligns with the specifications and updates of the contract documents.

• Partner with the Site Manager and the owner’s Project Manager to review project schedules and updates.

• Oversee and maintain quality control of the work team.

• Manage communication with the appropriate personnel regarding the connection of the project power grid to the existing transmission system.

• Attend project meetings and act as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and craft workers to guarantee compliance of electrical components with drawings and specifications.

• Foster a collaborative teamwork environment within the project team.

• Build and maintain relationships with all site visitors, including customers and contractors.

• Efficiently review logistics while providing suggestions for enhancement.

• Monitor and review the contractor’s procurement of electrical resources, methods, staffing, look-ahead schedules, and coordination with other site activities.

• Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure that plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs are accurately and promptly transmitted to subcontractors.

• Supervise the Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of contractor work across all projects.

• Ensure that owner-supplied subcontract crews have the necessary resources and support.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Expertise in the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of DC and medium voltage cables.

• Familiarity with current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble, and various methods of cable and equipment testing.

• Proficient in reading electrical drawings, sketches, and prints, as well as understanding underground duct banks, trenching, manholes, and vaults for collection systems, underground and pad mount transformer usage, and SCADA systems utilized in the power industry.

• A valid driver’s license.
