This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Generate precise electrical estimates, perform drawing takeoffs, and create BOQs and BOMs utilizing Groundplan and the ECS estimating tool.
• Oversee the RFQ, pricing, tendering, and quoting procedures.
• Coordinate procurement and purchase orders, involving subcontractors and suppliers while monitoring materials and project expenses.
• Assist with project coordination and mobilization, collaborating closely with Project Managers on timelines, resources, and procurement activities.
• Aid in managing progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost-to-complete tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and document control, including drawings, RFIs, claims, variations, and as-built documentation using Bluebeam Revu.
• Facilitate project handover and closure.
• Utilize and maintain simPRO, ECS Estimating Tool, Groundplan, Excel, Xero, ClickUp, and Bluebeam Revu.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical or construction estimating, quantity surveying, project engineering, or project coordination.
• Experience in medium to large commercial, industrial, mining, or resources projects.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, BOQs/BOMs, and quotes, and support projects through delivery and handover.
• Familiarity with Australian estimating practices and Australian Standards, particularly AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and relevant electrical codes.
• Proven experience with Australian or New Zealand companies, ideally with involvement in Australian projects.
• Experience working remotely or offshore for an Australian business is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Proficiency in simPRO and estimating software, along with strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Knowledge of Groundplan, Bluebeam Revu, Xero, or ClickUp is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction costing, margins, project expenses, and commercial terms.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, with the capability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and accountable, with the ability to independently manage multiple estimates and projects.
• A portfolio is required.
