Electrical Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the design, testing, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and application of equipment, devices, and systems that utilize electricity and electronics.

• Identify, analyze, and address deficiencies and complex challenges during the product development process through simulations, prototype testing, and feasibility studies.

• Create technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements during installation and operations.

• Collaborate with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to discuss current or prospective engineering projects or products.

• May provide estimates for labor, materials, or construction costs to assist in budget preparation.

• Accountable for defining, designing, testing, documenting, and launching new products for Nordson Electronic Solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS in Electrical Engineering is required along with 4 to 7 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks design or a comparable tool is mandatory.

• Preferred experience includes working with sensors, measuring devices, control systems, and automation.

• Familiarity with stage-gate processes and project management is desirable.

• Experience in developing and launching new products is an advantage.

• Interaction with customers and factory visits are considered a plus.

• Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, such as SAP, is beneficial.
