
Electrical Engineer – Grid & High Voltage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the complete electrical architecture for grid connections within the high and extra-high voltage domains.
• Formulate technical concepts for substations, grid connections, as well as protection and control systems.
• Independently design and size essential components such as transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate closely with transmission and distribution system operators (TSO/DSO).
• Manage grid connection procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide support for projects from the planning phase through to commissioning.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the high or extra-high voltage sector.
• Strong expertise in the planning and design of substations and grid connections.
• Familiarity with the structures and requirements of TSO and/or DSO.
• Knowledge of regulations, standards, and technical guidelines applicable in Germany.
• Ability to think systemically and make clear decisions.
• Regular presence in Munich for coordination and project-related tasks.
• Proficiency in German and a strong command of English.
