Electrical Engineer, Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and execute electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers, encompassing medium and low-voltage power distribution, backup power solutions, and emergency systems.

• Accountable for electrical calculations and the creation of drawings that adhere to client specifications and industry standards.

• Create and sustain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations, including the National Electric Code (NEC).

• Work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to formulate specifications, design criteria, and project budgets.

• Keep abreast of developments in electrical engineering and data center technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with over 6 years of MEP design experience.

• Proficient in colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

• Experience with Revit and ACC software.

• Knowledgeable in power system analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP.

• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Building codes, including IBC and IECC.

• Professional Engineer License (P.E.) is required.
