Electrical Engineer, Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and develop electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers.

• Accountable for performing electrical calculations and creating drawings.

• Create and manage electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to formulate specifications.

• Keep current with innovations in electrical engineering and data center technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Over 6 years of experience in MEP design.

• Familiarity with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

• Proficient in Revit and ACC.

• Skilled in power system analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP.

• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Knowledge of building codes including IBC and IECC.

• Professional Engineer License (P.E.) is required.
