Electrical Engineer – Building Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Execute customer-specific requirements for electrical building services systems in tender and specification documents.

• Offer technical direction to external design offices during the conceptualization, execution, and installation planning phases.

• Assist in the planning and implementation of systems such as fire and intrusion detection, CCTV, electrical installations, interior and exterior lighting, emergency lighting, and building lightning protection.

• Work closely and collaborate with international, cross-disciplinary project teams.

• Aid bid teams with contemporary technical solutions and optimized cost calculations.

• Provide technical assistance to site personnel during the execution phase.

• Carry out inspections and acceptance tests concerning electrical building services and follow up on any outstanding items.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and the assembly of acceptance and final documentation in accordance with customer requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or a master craftsman/master technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.

• Experience in the electrical planning and implementation of technical building equipment, ideally within an industrial context.

• Proficiency with 2D and 3D planning tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or BIM360.

• Experience in intercultural project collaboration and a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

• Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to work, creativity, and a strong emphasis on quality and results.

• Capability to collaborate across functions within complex project structures.

• Excellent German language skills and good to very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
