Electrical Distribution Network Data Labeler, Mapping Specialist

Posted Jun 14

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Methodically traverse designated road networks using Street View imagery, ensuring no sections are overlooked.

• Assess and accurately identify low-tension (LT) poles, high-tension (HT) poles, Distribution Transformer Centres (DTCs), and underground waypoints.

• Sequentially connect digitized assets in the exact order that the physical electrical lines are arranged to produce a precise, interconnected network map.

• Safeguard existing client information by maintaining preloaded source assets even in the absence of imagery, unless specifically directed to remove them.

• Emphasize electrical accuracy over mere speed.

• Mark unclear images, telecom interference, or ambiguous structures as "Low Confidence" instead of making assumptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering, or related technical disciplines.

• Relevant experience as a GIS Surveyor, Line Supervisor, Field Technician, or Utility Mapper.

• Direct familiarity with electrical distribution networks, particularly recognizing the visual, structural, and voltage distinctions between LT consumer-side networks (~0.4 kV), HT feeder networks (~11 kV), and DTC structures.

• High proficiency in navigating digital maps and multi-angle Street View operations on a computer.

• Strong field judgment to differentiate electricity assets from telecom lines, service drops, or general street clutter.

• Excellent data discipline; willing to flag uncertainties instead of making unverified assumptions.

• Experience in navigating intricate street environments, utility clutter, and both overhead and underground asset infrastructures is highly regarded.

• Proficient English communication skills along with relevant exposure to utility distribution.

🏝️ Benefits

• Health Stipend & Service Break Incentives: Access a dedicated healthcare subsidy/allowance and structured, paid service breaks after three months of successful collaboration.

• Supportive Remote Environment: Work from home with a collaborative team that prioritizes growth and mutual success.

• Autonomous Remote Collaboration: Benefit from the flexibility of a work-from-home arrangement, supported by a communicative operational team that values professional development and efficient delivery.

• Streamlined Project Onboarding: Seamlessly transition into the workflow with comprehensive system walkthroughs and client calibration documentation to ensure high-accuracy project delivery.
