Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of project requirements concerning scope, budget, and timeline.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating the project scope of work documentation, making revisions as necessary throughout the design process.

• Designing electrical systems, which encompass power distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, as well as security and life safety systems.

• Conducting engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed design work.

• Compiling technical documentation essential for project execution, including design criteria, calculations, process flow sheets, and specifications for electrical equipment.

• Reviewing shop drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Generating models and drawings utilizing various BIM software and CAD modeling tools.

• Employing BIM tools to virtually construct electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines through software such as Autodesk Revit.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency as an electrical engineer.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a B1 level or higher.

• Experience in electrical design across industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, focusing on medium and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.

• Familiarity with various electrical modeling software tools.

• Practical experience with software and tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power tools, and Dialux.

• Proven experience working on projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while meeting project deadlines.

• Self-motivated individuals who are ambitious and excel in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably.

• Strong communication skills are essential.
