Electrical Data Center Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality verification inspections and review documentation for the commissioning process of all electrical and/or mechanical equipment during Levels 1, 2, and 3 of commissioning as outlined in the project commissioning plan, specifications, submittals, and relevant codes and standards.

• Deliverables include: L1 FAT/FWT Reports, L2 Torque Logs, L2 Megger Reports, L2 Equipment Receiving and BOL Documentation, L2 Field Installation Reports, L3 PMS and BMS Point to Point Verifications, and L3 Energization and/or Functional Test Reports.

• Engage with the software management system and the Project Share Site to upload commissioning checklists, readiness evaluation reports, and other necessary records as specified.

• Execute commissioning inspections using checklists or forms within the quality control software system. Inspections will be conducted at key milestones as requested by the Project Manager. Inspection criteria will focus on compliance with the project specifications and submittals, in addition to applicable codes and standards.

• Support in monitoring and addressing open issues as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a Certificate/Diploma from an accredited trade school, or a county and/or state electrical license is preferred.

• Previous experience in an electrical construction or commissioning-related role is essential.

• Familiarity with the relevant project documents related to the electrical systems that need commissioning is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel 100% of the time or be based locally at the project site.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrate strong follow-through, and implement self-directed quality control measures.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
