Electric Vehicle Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service electrical charging infrastructure utilizing a range of skills and tools from computer diagnostics to basic electrical equipment.

• Keep accurate and timely records for all repairs and installations.

• Collaborate with third parties/vendors to ensure the seamless execution of all projects.

• Guarantee that all services and projects are completed on schedule, within the defined scope, and adhere to budget constraints.

• Confirm the availability and allocation of resources to meet our clients' service needs.

• Develop a comprehensive service plan to monitor and track project progress.

• Assess the performance of charging infrastructure using suitable tools and methodologies.

• Provide reports and escalate issues to company management as necessary.

• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct while representing the company at client sites.

• Conduct risk management activities to mitigate project risks.

• Build and sustain relationships with third parties/vendors.

• Create and maintain thorough project documentation.

• Engage with clients to gather detailed ordering briefs and clarify the specific requirements of each project.

• Participate in conferences and training as needed to stay proficient.

• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Basic understanding of charging, automotive, and/or vehicle systems.

• Practical experience in electrical, mechanical, or other related field service roles; expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting is essential.

• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications.

• A clean driving record, demonstrating the capability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
