EIT Infrastructure Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all IT Engineering initiatives that support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) Cloud Infrastructure IT Services Group (IITS)

• Collaborate with the Senior PM to manage the technical resources of the entire team

• Aid in leading all technical projects, developing technical capabilities roadmaps, and ensuring the technical success of projects within the group

• Support the PM during high-level government meetings and briefings

• Contribute to the creation of schedules, documentation, and requirements for individual projects within IITS

• Assist in enhancing technical processes such as ticket and change management

• Ensure that the group meets the technical requirements of both internal EITaaS and external DAF clients

• Offer Subject Matter Expertise across various technology solutions

• Direct the strategic planning of the group with technical initiatives projected 12-24 months into the future

• Aid in cost management alongside the Sr PM to oversee project costs; create an ODC spending plan quarterly to monitor project hardware and software expenses

• Work on prioritizing tasks and ensuring the successful delivery of program and project milestones

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain a Secret security clearance

• Over 15 years of relevant experience with the following minimum qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience leading complex, high-visibility infrastructure projects

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team of over 15 technical resources

• At least 3 years of experience working within a Department of War Enterprise Environment

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing Cloud computing infrastructure solutions (Azure preferred, but not mandatory)

• Proficient understanding and experience with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience delivering briefings to senior members of a program team and senior government officials

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize requirements for value that align with customer expectations and product vision

• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities

• Experience managing a large DoD enterprise environment
