This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Organize, plan, and carry out site discovery for EUDs, interconnected systems, and DDPO.
• Conduct post-discovery assessments to establish technical scope, requirements, and identify gaps.
• Monitor device procurement and manage logistics during deployment.
• Act as the main technical liaison for local site IT leadership and engineering/network teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure site readiness.
• Assist in cutover planning and the execution of go-live activities.
• Oversee and report on engineering tasks in relation to deployment milestones.
• Facilitate the complete lifecycle of EHR system implementation across multiple VA medical centers.
• Ensure overall technical preparedness for transitioning to a new EHR.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Competency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to hospitals and clinics in various locations.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance; a background check is required.
• Prior experience with technical assessments in hospitals or clinics is preferred.
• Knowledge of system interfaces and medical device interfaces is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) or similar EHR vendors is preferred.
• Prior experience in federal or VA programs is preferred.
• Must reside in California.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
• Fully remote / remote-first work setup.
• Salary range of $120,000–$140,000 per year.
