This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Design, implement, and assess national health education initiatives aimed at individuals living with bleeding disorders and their support networks.
• Monitor the progress of programs, participate in evaluation activities, and suggest enhancements.
• Oversee assigned projects from the planning phase through to execution, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements and timelines.
• Create educational resources and content for various platforms.
• Develop health education strategies, tools, and resources tailored for community partners.
• Establish collaborative relationships with Hemophilia Treatment Centers, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist volunteer working groups in shaping educational initiatives.
• Offer guidance, coaching, and support to colleagues and volunteers to foster collaborative success.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Education, Public Health, or a similar field), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in health promotion and risk prevention programs is preferred.
• Proven skills in project management, program development, and outcome assessment.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and awareness of current issues in public health.
• Self-driven, critical thinker with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Capability to work with and influence a diverse range of individuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven collaboration and communication skills in a remote work setting.
• Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills are essential.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is strongly preferred.
