Editorial Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new content tailored to meet customer needs as assigned.

• Conduct research to gather content and source materials for lessons.

• Adapt existing content for repurposing in various programs and subject areas.

• Identify gaps in TCI programs to ensure standards coverage and correlation.

• Review and refine video scripts.

• Evaluate produced videos to confirm alignment with the script and text.

• Review and revise questions and interactions within lessons.

• Comply with TCI’s style guidelines and project requirements.

• Ensure content is appropriate for grade levels and accessible to students.

• Write, edit, and adjust content to create lessons that satisfy the needs of teachers, students, and TCI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Availability to work 35–40 hours per week during standard business hours.

• Minimum of three years of editorial experience.

• A minimum of three years of K–12 curriculum experience, particularly in social studies or science.

• Proven experience aligning content with state standards.

• Skilled in fact-checking and identifying both primary and secondary sources.

• Experience in creating educational video content.

• Ability to meet deadlines while working independently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and project management tools.

• Must possess an updated personal laptop/computer that is no older than 5 years.

• Computer must be capable of running the latest versions of TCI-provided systems and applications.

• Compatible with Windows or macOS only.
