📋 Description

• Compose timely and high-quality commentary aimed at subscribers.

• Discover angles on significant stories that resonate with subscribers.

• Deliver polished copy swiftly while meeting tight deadlines.

• Receive briefs and editorial guidance from senior editors.

• Create commentary that articulates the relevance of a story to our subscribers.

• Assist in packaging stories within the CMS.

• Collaborate with editors to guarantee that stories are both visually and editorially complete.

• Support the workflow of the subscriber newsletter.

• Occasionally provide assistance for other content formats.

• Proven understanding of the news landscape in the United States and globally.

• Extensive experience in writing quickly and accurately within a digital news setting.

• Demonstrated ability to craft commentary, analysis, or interpretative journalism.

• Strong sourcing instincts coupled with a commitment to precision.

• Familiarity with CMS publishing processes.

• Clear interest in subscriber products and newsletter initiatives.

• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
