📋 Description

• Define the objectives, scope, priorities, and formats for the journal.

• Lead the in-house editorial team.

• Oversee the thorough evaluation of submissions.

• Maintain the quality and significance of the journal as a platform for research, analysis, and ideas.

• Draw world-class article submissions through a global network of researchers.

• Travel extensively to connect with the global research community.

• Participate in conferences and visit research institutions.

• Build and nurture collaborations with Cell Press editorial teams.

• Work together with Operations, Marketing, and Press teams.

• Contribute to the overall publishing strategy of Cell Press.

• Demonstrated research expertise and a wide-ranging interest in research across the field of Device.

• Strong network of international researchers relevant to the journal's scope.

• Established ability to engage and influence researchers.

• Capability to think conceptually and critically about a diverse array of scientific issues.

• Proven skills in organization, project management, leadership, and teamwork.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Significant editorial experience is preferred.
