📋 Description

• Define the objectives, scope, priorities, and formats for Device

• Oversee and lead the in-house editorial team

• Coordinate a thorough evaluation process for submissions

• Maintain the quality and significance of the journal as a platform for premier research, analysis, and innovative ideas

• Leverage a global network of prominent researchers to draw in top-tier article submissions

• Travel extensively to connect with the worldwide research community

• Participate in conferences and visit research institutions

• Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with Cell Press editorial teams

• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Press teams

• Contribute to the overarching publishing strategy of Cell Press

• Demonstrated research expertise and a wide-ranging interest in research relevant to Device

• Strong network of international researchers relevant to the journal's scope

• Proven capacity to engage and influence others

• Ability to think conceptually and critically about diverse scientific issues

• Established organizational, project management, leadership, and teamwork abilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Extensive editorial experience is preferred

• Current academic professionals seeking new opportunities in Editorial/Publishing are encouraged to apply
