📋 Description

• Define the objectives, scope, priorities, and formats for the Device journal.

• Guide the journal's evolution to ensure it remains impactful, relevant, cohesive, and appealing to a broad audience.

• Oversee the in-house editorial team.

• Facilitate a thorough evaluation process for submitted articles.

• Maintain the journal's quality and significance as a platform for research, analysis, and innovative ideas.

• Leverage a global network of prominent researchers to attract top-tier article submissions.

• Travel extensively to connect with the global research community.

• Build relationships by attending conferences and visiting research institutions.

• Establish and nurture collaborations with Cell Press editorial teams.

• Work in conjunction with Operations, Marketing, and Press teams.

• Contribute to Cell Press's overarching publishing strategy.

• Extensive network of international researchers relevant to the journal's focus.

• Proven capability to engage and influence researchers effectively.

• Ability to conceptualize and critically analyze a diverse array of scientific issues.

• Established organizational, project management, leadership, and collaborative skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Significant editorial experience is highly regarded.

• Current academic role with a keen interest in editorial and publishing challenges is encouraged.
