Editor Freelancer

📋 Description

• A Panini is seeking ***Freelance Editors*** to collaborate on upcoming editorial projects, which include books, magazines, comic books, mangas, albums, special collections, and collectible products.

• We are looking for creative, organized professionals with an editorial perspective, capable of transforming ideas and content into relevant products, ensuring quality, coherence, alignment with the audience, and excellence throughout all stages of the editorial development process.

• Engage in the editorial development of books, magazines, comic books, mangas, albums, collections, and special projects;

• Oversee all stages of the editorial process, from concept inception to final product delivery;

• Create editorial concepts, content proposals, publication structures, and creative directions;

• Draft and review editorial briefings to guide internal teams, collaborators, and suppliers;

• Conduct curation, selection, and organization of content based on project objectives and target audience profiles;

• Supervise translations, adaptations, revisions, and other necessary stages for editorial production;

• Ensure consistency in language, editorial identity, and quality of the developed materials;

• Collaborate with translators, proofreaders, illustrators, designers, layout artists, and production teams;

• Assess texts, images, illustrations, and graphic elements to ensure alignment with the editorial proposal;

• Develop and oversee collectible projects, considering content, format, consumer experience, and appeal to collectors;

• Monitor editorial schedules, ensuring organization and adherence to established deadlines;

• Interact with Marketing, Product, Licensing, and other departments involved in publication development;

• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and licensed intellectual property.

• Proven experience in editing and developing editorial content;

• Knowledge of the market for books, magazines, comic books, mangas, collections, or entertainment;

• Ability to develop concepts, structure content, and lead editorial projects;

• Capability to work with different formats, audiences, and publication styles;

• Creativity, editorial sense, and attention to detail;

• Organizational skills, autonomy, and commitment to deadlines.
