This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Editing and proofreading of content.

• Review, correct, and edit educational, institutional, and digital materials.

• Ensure the proper use of spelling, grammar, syntax, style, and textual coherence.

• Make certain that the content is clear, precise, and comprehensible for the target audience.

• Enhance the structure and quality of texts prior to publication.

• Verify that all materials comply with the project's editorial and stylistic guidelines.

• Validate the conceptual consistency and proper structure of documents.

• Ensure that content is ready for final delivery with high-quality standards.

• Review the pedagogical relevance of the content.

• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure that materials meet the project's objectives.

• Confirm that the language used is suitable for basic and secondary education students.

• Provide clear, timely, and constructive feedback to content authors.

• Collaborate with designers, educators, and technical teams to implement improvements.

• Organize and safeguard various versions of the content.

• Maintain detailed records of editorial changes and observations.

• Ensure traceability and organization of all project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Literature, Education, Journalism, or related fields.

• Proven experience in editing, reviewing, and proofreading educational or institutional content.

• Prior experience in educational projects, EdTech platforms, or international cooperation programs (desirable).

• Additional training in Style Correction, Text Editing, or Curriculum/Instructional Design will be considered a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of the spelling, grammar, and syntax rules of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE).

• Familiarity with editorial processes and content quality assurance.

• Understanding of pedagogical principles and adaptation of materials for school audiences.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, particularly in track changes, comments, and styles.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for editorial tracking, schedules, and control matrices.

• Experience working with collaborative tools for document review will be valued.
