EDI Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate EDI and third-party integrations for customers of Sonepar operating companies.

• Support system-to-system tools, which include EDI, order entry automation, and broader system integrations.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, OpCos, and internal stakeholders to comprehend integration requirements and ensure successful onboarding.

• Assist in mapping internal data to the specifications of customer or vendor systems, guaranteeing accurate and efficient information flow between platforms.

• Diagnose and resolve existing integration issues while identifying opportunities to enhance stability, usability, and adoption.

• Make certain that integrations are utilized to their maximum potential and help business partners recognize the value of system-to-system tools.

• Document both current and new system integrations, customer statuses, and associated processes.

• Provide support for vendor integrations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in eCommerce, eProcurement, EDI, punchout, or related system integration roles.

• Strong preference for experience in EDI integrations, EDI mapping, data mapping, or customer/vendor onboarding.

• At least 2 years of project management or implementation experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of customer relationship management or customer-facing support experience.

• At least 1 year of process improvement experience.

• Ability to understand requirements, pose thoughtful questions, and ascertain how data should transition between systems.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to adapt your approach for customers, vendors, technical teams, and internal business partners.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, learning new systems, and seeking clarification when needed.

• A curiosity-driven mindset and a readiness to thoughtfully challenge existing processes in a solutions-oriented manner.
