This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute precise code assignments for Emergency Department records (both facility and professional fee)
• Operate remotely from a home office
• Apply and enhance existing coding skills
• Uphold a coding quality of 95% or higher
• Adapt effectively to changes and exhibit flexibility
• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in coding Emergency Department records within an acute care environment is essential.
• Technical proficiency with remote connectivity tools, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing platforms.
• Competence in office software such as Outlook for communication, calendar for scheduling meetings, and Excel for data management.
• A dedicated and regular work schedule is necessary, with an emphasis on dependable and timely attendance.
• Achieve client productivity goals while ensuring coding quality remains at 95% or above.
