📋 Description

• Lead or assist in conducting economic impact assessments for state agencies and regulatory bodies.

• Develop transparent impact models that encompass direct, indirect, and induced effects, including employment, output, tax revenues, and industry impacts, with well-documented assumptions.

• Integrate industry, labor, and administrative data into assessments.

• Compose policy-ready findings and recommendations based on analysis.

• Present methodologies and results to agency sponsors and stakeholders.

• Contribute economic impact content and previous performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals, when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in hands-on economic impact assessments, I-O / REMI / IMPLAN (or similar) modeling, or providing economic analysis for state regulations.

• Ability to produce reproducible methodologies, articulate limitations, and generate policy-ready reports.

• Comfortable working as a 1099/project-based collaborator, with willingness to travel as required.

• Previous experience with California state agencies or within regulated industries in economic analysis (preferred).

• Experience in analyzing cannabis, alcohol, or other regulated product markets (preferred).

• Advanced degree in economics, public policy, or a related field (preferred).
