This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take ownership of conversion rate optimization across the Shopify storefront including product detail pages (PDPs), collection pages, checkout flow, and the homepage.
• Conduct A/B tests and on-site experiments; oversee tools and analyze results.
• Manage the Shopify app ecosystem, which includes upsell/cross-sell, reviews, subscriptions, bundles, and site speed tools.
• Maintain integrations and resolve issues pertaining to apps, pixels, and data layers.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brief and implement updated images, copy, and user-generated content across PDPs.
• Optimize PDPs on TikTok Shop, focusing on titles, bullets, images, A+ content, and category/attribute setup.
• Monitor the performance of the TikTok Shop storefront and report any issues to the broader team.
• Work with the content and affiliate team to ensure product pages are optimized for creator traffic support.
• Keep up-to-date with TikTok Shop feature releases and share relevant updates.
• Assist with optimization of Amazon listings, including titles, bullets, A+ content, backend keywords, and imagery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency contacts to implement updates and maintain listing health.
• Identify suppressed listings, content issues, or policy flags and coordinate their resolution.
• Execute end-to-end campaign sends: building, quality assurance, scheduling, and deploying in Klaviyo.
• Partner with the Director of Growth and a retention agency on flow strategy—your role will be hands-on implementation.
• Manage segmentation logic, list hygiene, and send cadence.
• Retrieve post-send reports and present performance insights.
• Oversee the review platform—ensure the processes for review collection, moderation, and syndication are functioning smoothly.
• Utilize AI tools for copywriting, content optimization, and enhancing productivity.
• Keep thorough documentation across standard operating procedures (SOPs), app settings, and platform configurations.
• Support the launch of new channels or integrations as the business expands.
• ***Must-Have:***
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce role, with extensive knowledge of Shopify.
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo: you've built campaigns, managed flows, and generated your own reports.
• Experience with TikTok Shop in some capacity, even if you were not the primary owner.
• Basic familiarity with Amazon Seller Central for listing updates, A+ content, and suppression troubleshooting.
• Comfortable navigating the Shopify app ecosystem: you understand the available tools, their interactions, and how to troubleshoot when issues arise.
• A conversion rate optimization (CRO) mindset: you consider the customer journey, not just the immediate task.
• Detail-oriented and focused on execution—you complete tasks, follow up, and ensure closure.
• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance efficiency (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with creative teams, growth teams, and external partners.
• ***Nice-to-Have:***
• Experience with a beauty, wellness, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) DTC brand.
• Familiarity with affiliate or influencer-related e-commerce (e.g., TikTok Shop affiliates, LTK, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template modifications.
• Experience with tools such as Elevar, Triple Whale, or similar attribution/analytics platforms.
• Comfort with pulling and interpreting data in Google Sheets or Looker.
