eCommerce Accounts Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in auditing the financial functions of clients, offering suggestions for improvement.

• Perform daily bookkeeping and reconciliations, aiming for precision.

• Facilitate the provision of real-time reporting to clients, eliminating transaction backlogs.

• Foster client relationships, reducing the number of client inquiries to help reclaim their time.

• Assess and enhance financial processes and controls, promoting automation efficiencies whenever feasible.

• Aid in the preparation and delivery of comprehensive management accounts and associated commentary.

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.

• Contribute to client fundraising initiatives.

• Assist in the formulation of financial models, budgets, and forecasts.

• Conduct ad hoc modeling tasks to assist with pricing or cost-saving strategies.

• Communicate findings and recommendations back to clients in an easily understandable manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience reporting to a Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Chief Financial Officer.

• Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

• Driven, ambitious, and passionate about making a difference and achieving results.

• Experience in a Retail, Marketplace, or DTC/e-commerce environment.

• Proficient in MS Excel and IT skills, including familiarity with graphs, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot tables.

• Background in working with scaling organizations.

• Familiarity with e-commerce, wholesale, or finance platforms.
