This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.
• Reporting to the Deputy Project Director for Content and Delivery, the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Technical Lead is responsible for providing technical guidance and managing the daily operations of Arabic ECD content and program development across the IRC ECD portfolio.
• This role guarantees the creation, adaptation, and efficient deployment of high-quality, evidence-based ECD content that can be delivered effectively — whether in-person, remotely, or through hybrid methods — throughout the MENA region.
• Supervise the creation, modification, and effective use of IRC's ECD materials and content for programs aimed at children.
• Work in collaboration with the Digital Portfolio Senior Manager and the broader digital team to ensure that the content produced for both in-person and remote delivery is suitably adapted and integrated into digital products and platforms.
• At least 8 years of experience in developing ECD or educational content and contributing to the design and delivery of large-scale programs focused on ECD or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of the ECD sector, including both current and historical research, evidence-based program models, and content development strategies for various audiences, including children, caregivers, and service providers.
• Proven track record of providing high-quality technical assistance, guidance, and coaching to staff and partners.
• Familiarity with digital technology in the context of ECD or education, with an understanding of how content is adapted and delivered across digital platforms and products; direct experience collaborating with digital teams is a plus.
• Experience utilizing or managing personnel who apply user-centered design principles in content creation.
• Background in working within conflict and crisis environments, along with knowledge of humanitarian programming.
• Demonstrated capability to operate with a high level of autonomy, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships across diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong understanding of the MENA regional context; experience in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and/or Palestine is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
