E-invoicing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Operational Support: Oversee integration errors, investigate rejections from tax authorities, and assist local teams in rectifying invoices.

• Process Optimization: Evaluate recurring issues, uncover root causes, and recommend system or process enhancements to minimize manual effort.

• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor legislative updates in e-invoicing and proactively adjust our processes to ensure compliance.

• Expansion Support: Serve as a technical expert in new-country rollout initiatives — assess requirements, aid in UAT testing, and provide final business approval.

• You are not a developer or a lawyer — you are an operational expert who comprehends how invoices navigate through tax authority systems daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Finance Operations, Accounting, AP/AR, Tax Technology, or Shared Services.

• Practical experience with mandatory B2B e-invoicing in jurisdictions where it is enforced.

• Familiarity with Italy (SdI) or Romania (RO e-Factura) is highly preferred.

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a significant advantage.

• Comprehension of the distinctions between Clearance and Post-Audit models.

• Personal attributes: Ambitious, team-oriented, eager to learn, proactive, results-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with hotels and internal teams, alongside excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple hotel contracts and agreements concurrently.

• International perspective: Capability to understand and operate within diverse cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence.

• Language proficiency: Advanced English; additional languages are a bonus.
