This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Take responsibility for the overall marketing P&L for AU and US Shopify.
• Establish and uphold metrics such as MER, CAC, blended ROAS, AOV, LTV, and revenue targets.
• Identify performance issues throughout the funnel and guide the team's response.
• Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding budget allocation, channel mix, and growth priorities.
• Oversee and mentor four direct reports through weekly one-on-ones, clear KPIs, and performance evaluations.
• Define the team's weekly rhythm: stand-ups, trading reviews, and debrief sessions.
• Provide guidance to the media buyer regarding budget constraints, kill/scale protocols, and creative testing priorities.
• Offer direction to the content creator on UGC concepts, hooks, scenes, and deliverables.
• Ensure the team meets deadlines, KPIs, and maintains quality standards.
• Personally draft and review creative briefs, test plans, and trading reports.
• Extract and analyze data from Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads.
• Lead CRO enhancements on product pages, checkout processes, and mobile experiences.
• Manage product launch playbooks from start to finish — including briefing, timing, channel sequencing, and post-launch evaluations.
• Enhance email and SMS lifecycle flows in Klaviyo to boost retention, AOV, and LTV.
• Step into operational tasks during urgent situations (creative fatigue, MER declines, stockouts, launches).
• Present monthly reports to the founder team covering MER trends, CAC/LTV trends, brand search volume, creative insights, budget versus plan, and key achievements/challenges.
• Review and critically assess the media buyer's weekly performance reports.
• Maintain direct and proactive communication with the founder team.
• A minimum of 4 years as a Marketing Manager (or equivalent) in a DTC e-commerce setting that sells physical products.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus is essential.
• Direct marketing experience targeting the US market (experience in Australia is a significant advantage).
• Proven track record in managing an in-house team — focusing on full-time employees, not just freelancers or agencies.
• Comfortable leading a small team (3–6 people) while remaining actively involved.
• Proficient in Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads at a level that allows for reading, interpretation, and coaching.
• Strong grasp of MER, blended ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution profit.
• Experience in email/SMS lifecycle marketing, CRO, and creative testing methodologies.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• What We Are Not Looking For:
• Solely media buyers (as we already have one — we need their manager).
• Agency owners or consultants aiming to add LIAB as another client.
• Strategy-only managers who do not engage in hands-on work.
• Marketplace specialists (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop) lacking robust Shopify DTC experience.
• Service, SaaS, or B2B marketers without experience in physical product DTC.
• Candidates who require constant guidance or encounter difficulties with changing priorities.
• Full-time, remote position.
• AEST working hours (Brisbane time), approximately 9am–5pm.
• Direct collaboration with the team based in the Philippines.
• Salary based on experience.
