This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take responsibility for the total marketing P&L for both AU and US Shopify platforms.
• Establish and uphold MER, CAC, blended ROAS, AOV, LTV, and revenue goals.
• Identify performance issues throughout the funnel and guide the team's response.
• Make informed decisions based on data regarding budget distribution, channel strategy, and growth priorities.
• Oversee and nurture four direct reports through weekly one-on-ones, clearly defined KPIs, and performance assessments.
• Organize the team's weekly schedule: stand-ups, trading evaluations, and debriefs.
• Provide the media buyer with guidelines on budget limits, kill/scale criteria, and creative testing priorities.
• Inform the content creator about UGC strategies, hooks, scenes, and deliverables.
• Ensure the team meets deadlines, adheres to KPIs, and maintains quality standards.
• Personally draft and review creative briefs, testing plans, and trading reports.
• Extract and analyze data from Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads.
• Lead CRO enhancements on product pages, the checkout process, and mobile user experience.
• Manage product launch playbooks from start to finish — including briefings, timing, channel sequencing, and post-launch evaluations.
• Enhance email and SMS lifecycle flows in Klaviyo for customer retention, AOV, and LTV.
• Step into operational tasks during emergencies (such as creative fatigue, MER declines, stock shortages, and launches).
• Present monthly reports to the founder team, covering MER trends, CAC/LTV trends, brand search volume, creative insights, budget versus plan, and key achievements/challenges.
• Evaluate and critique the media buyer's weekly performance reports.
• Maintain direct and proactive communication with the founder team.
• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Marketing Manager (or equivalent) in a DTC e-commerce setting selling physical products.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus is essential.
• Direct experience marketing to the US audience (experience in Australia is a significant advantage).
• Proven ability to manage in-house teams — specifically full-time employees, not just freelancers or agencies.
• Comfortable leading a small team (3–6 individuals) while remaining actively involved.
• Proficient in Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads at a level that allows for reading, interpreting, and coaching.
• Solid understanding of MER, blended ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution profit metrics.
• Experience in email/SMS lifecycle marketing, CRO, and creative testing methodologies.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Pure media buyers (we already have one — we need their manager).
• Agency owners or consultants looking to onboard LIAB as an additional client.
• Strategy-focused managers who do not engage in hands-on work.
• Marketplace specialists (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop) lacking strong Shopify DTC experience.
• Service, SaaS, or B2B marketers without experience in physical product DTC marketing.
• Candidates who need constant guidance or struggle with adapting to changing priorities.
• Full-time, remote position.
• Working hours aligned with AEST (Brisbane time), approximately 9am–5pm.
• Direct collaboration with the Philippines-based team.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Bi-annual bonus opportunities.
• Paid leave and annual vacation leave.
• Performance-based bonuses.
• Direct influence over marketing strategy across two expanding markets.
• Join a passionate and dynamic team striving to establish a category leader in the vanlife sector.
• Embrace a culture of radical transparency and direct feedback.
• Focus on action orientation and ownership.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities every 2–3 months.
• A balance of big-picture vision with organized execution.
• We seek builders, not waiters.
