E-Commerce Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance daily operations on Zalando (zDirect), focusing on inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

• Manage product creation and optimize listings to ensure all information is accurate, SEO-optimized, and meets Zalando's specific requirements.

• Track and maintain account health and performance metrics, ensuring adherence to platform policies while addressing any operational challenges.

• Develop and manage high-quality brand content to boost product visibility and enhance customer engagement and conversion rates across both marketplaces.

• Facilitate communication and support cases with Zalando partner support to efficiently resolve technical or fulfillment challenges.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the European e-commerce environment, particularly focusing on changes to Zalando’s and Otto’s algorithms, category trends, and best practices.

• Supervise storage and fulfillment processes (Partner Program / Connected Retail), overseeing inbound shipments, restocking, and inventory performance.

• Evaluate sales performance and Buy Box competition, applying data-driven strategies to boost sales and expand market share.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate Zalando zDirect effectively.

• Capable of interpreting marketplace metrics and making data-driven decisions to enhance listings and maintain account health.

• Ensures product data and attributes are meticulously managed to minimize errors and optimize search outcomes.

• Communicates with clarity and professionalism with platform support teams and internal stakeholders.

• Exhibits quick thinking and a proactive mindset, especially when addressing technical platform issues.

• Able to swiftly adapt to new tools, API modifications, and the evolving requirements of e-commerce platforms.

• Strong work ethic with the capability to work comfortably both independently (remote) and collaboratively within a team.
