Dynatrace Instrumentation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Join our team as an Instrumentation Engineer, where you will assist clients in overcoming their most challenging performance monitoring issues.

• Directly engage with assigned ServiceNow tasks.

• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, contributing to the design of monitoring solutions, implementing and executing these solutions, troubleshooting technical problems, updating ServiceNow Visual Task Boards to document your efforts, and actively participating in quality assurance initiatives.

• Utilize your expertise to carry out routine tasks such as adding and removing devices from Dynatrace and other monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering technical support pertaining to system architecture, design, integration, and management.

• At least 1 year of experience with Dynatrace, including installation of OneAgent, working with Dynatrace APIs, creating dashboards, and conducting data trend analyses in monitoring tools, along with integration of alerts from cloud performance monitoring tools (AWS/Azure).

• Proficient in providing technical input for the development of application performance monitoring solutions.

• Experienced in conducting requirements analysis, which includes identifying needs and deficiencies in hardware and software products.

• Knowledgeable in reviewing and identifying gaps in application performance monitoring capabilities.

• Capable of advising customers on monitoring solutions and facilitating knowledge transfer regarding the use of monitoring tools.

• A high school diploma or GED with over 13 years of relevant professional experience, or a BA or BS degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field with over 5 years of relevant professional experience.
