Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical project deliveries, encompassing technical analysis, code design evaluations, and code performance enhancements, thereby contributing to successful Dynamics implementations.

• Strategically plan, manage, and execute technical project deliverables for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain as well as Power Platform.

• Engage directly with stakeholders to provide updates on technical deliverables and outline upcoming deadlines.

• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to grasp client requirements and convert them into technical specifications and project plans.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture while guiding a developing team of Dynamics consultants.

• Establish and maintain adherence to enterprise architecture best practices across both technical and functional lines, as well as Microsoft Products.

• Create and uphold technical documentation and project artifacts.

• Work alongside Microsoft FastTrack and Engineering teams to acquire in-depth product insights and conduct customer solution design reviews.

• Act as a liaison between consulting leadership and technical team members within the organization.

• Engage in pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and proposal preparation.

• Manage the technical team as both a peer and mentor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Technology, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline.

• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Over 8 years of experience in technical architecture and the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

• In-depth understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform's capabilities and limitations, along with related technologies such as Azure and Power Platform.

• Required experience in multiple Dynamics 365 ERP projects.

• Experience as a Lead Developer in comprehensive customer implementations.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&SC in the following technical areas:

• Minimum of 12+ years of X++ development experience.

• Data Management Framework (DIXF).

• PowerApps, LogicApps, Azure Portal/Services, SharePoint, C#, SQL Server, Common Data Service, and other Azure Services, including Azure Functions and Azure Event Grid.

• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.

• Understanding of F&SC Business Events and Service Bus.

• Experience in role-based security design and customization.

• Proficiency in extensible data security.

• Experience in SSRS report development and Power BI.

• Code builds and deployments via Azure DevOps Pipelines and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

• Familiarity with both TFS and Git repositories.

• Experience with unified development environments.

• Understanding of Azure licensing and costing is an advantage.

• Experience in two or more Microsoft Dynamics functional areas, preferably in Finance, Trade & Logistics, Warehouse Management, Sales, Marketing, Service, Production, Manufacturing, and other modules.

• Strong ability to organize, prioritize, estimate, and deliver tasks within deadlines.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Experience working within a multicultural and/or multilingual team across various time zones.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification(s) are preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
