This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide tactical oversight of daily flight operations within the OCC, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in a manner that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Optimize the utilization of aircraft and crews through daily collaboration with Crew Scheduling, Dispatch, Maintenance Control, Charter Sales, and other stakeholders during both standard operations and irregular operations (IROPS).
• Monitor the short-term schedule to ensure aircraft routing is efficient, considering route requirements, technical needs, and commercial priorities.
• Develop, implement, and manage disruption recovery plans during irregular operations and delays, prioritizing safety, guest needs, and operational continuity.
• Act as the primary liaison for the OCC with Fixed Based Operators (FBOs), ensuring that ground operations are in line with Aero’s service standards.
• Support the charter and scheduled operations sales teams with flight times, performance data, aircraft and crew routings, flight numbering, and guest coordination.
• Prepare and disseminate daily operations summary reports.
• Serve as the main OCC contact for FAR 119 certificate holders and regulatory agencies.
• Represent the OCC in the Emergency Command Center (ECC) when the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is activated.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a 14 CFR Part 121 and/or large Part 135/91K Operations Control Center as a licensed dispatcher or in a supervisory dispatch role.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Duty Manager in a 14 CFR Part 121 and/or large Part 135/91K OCC.
• Proven experience with air carrier operations throughout the US, including knowledge of operations in the Los Angeles and New York areas.
• Experience in managing or overseeing an outsourced or vendor-based operations team, ideally in an international or remote environment.
• Prior experience coordinating with FBOs and external ground operations partners is highly desirable.
• Possession of an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License (mandatory).
• In-depth understanding of 14 CFR Part 135 regulations, dispatch requirements, and international/oceanic operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to interact professionally with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
• Proven leadership skills with a history of managing teams—including vendor or outsourced organizations—and making sound, high-stakes decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to maintain flexible working hours to oversee US operations and coordinate with the Romania-based OCC team (EEST/EET time zone).
