This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that each guest receives appropriate attention, maintaining consistently high standards of safety, quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

• Always uphold a clean and professional personal appearance.

• Greet guests daily in a friendly and professional manner.

• Have knowledge of and utilize all types of duck hunting and saltwater fishing equipment, tools, and firearms.

• Provide assistance to duck hunters and anglers as necessary, ensuring the safety of all guests at all times.

• Understand and enforce all state and federal fish and wildlife management practices with guests consistently.

• Build, install, clean, paint, repair, and maintain duck blinds as required.

• Ensure duck decoys are in proper condition - repair or replace as needed.

• Maintain a clean and operational vessel at all times.

• Keep fishing equipment clean and in working order at all times.

• Operate personal pickup truck, hunting/fishing boat(s), and firearms in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Confirm that lodge-provided boat lunches and drinking water are secured before departure each morning.

• Ensure that containers for boat lunch and drinking water are returned to the lodge daily after use.

• Conduct a proper cleanup after each trip.

• Demonstrate the ability to respond swiftly during emergencies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a shallow water bay boat that operates effectively in the middle Texas coast environment.

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in navigating local waters such as San Antonio Bay, Espiritu Santo Bay, and Mesquite Bay.

• Have an understanding of the various duck and saltwater fish species found along the middle Texas coast.

• Be personable and enjoy working and communicating with guests and lodge staff, maintaining a positive attitude and displaying excellent manners at all times.

• Experienced in guiding groups of 1-5 hunting and fishing clients.

• Must be responsible and accountable, demonstrating reliability in showing up for scheduled charters.

• Preferably possess an airboat or be highly qualified in airboat operation.

• Hold all required Federal and State credentials, which must be current and up to date, including: USCG OUPV License, USCG First-Aid + CPR Certification, USCG Medical Certificate, TPWD Guide License, TPWD Saltwater Fishing License, Valid State Boat Registration, Drug Consortium Membership, Boat Insurance Policy (Commercial Marine Insurance Binder with a minimum of $300K liability + Bay Flats Lodge listed as additional insured), TWIC card, and Automobile Driver License.
