Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, replace, commission, remove, and service metering systems, related equipment, and communication systems.

• Provide friendly and professional interactions with customers.

• Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team and business objectives.

• Begin as a Dual Fuel Engineer and undergo training in warrant work within approximately 8 weeks, advancing to an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer.

• Elite Engineers conduct friendly debt resolution visits.

• Elite Engineers alternate between serving as the on-site engineer during Warrant visits and acting as the Warrant Officer, always receiving support and never working alone.

• Non-Elite Dual Fuel Engineers concentrate solely on technical metering tasks.

• Work a rotating Monday-Friday shift schedule from 6am to 8pm.

• Report to the Regional Field Manager.

• Cover Lancaster/Lake District postcodes LA10, LA11, LA12, LA13, LA14, LA15, LA16, LA17, LA18, LA19, LA20, LA21, LA22, LA23, LA5, LA6, LA7, LA8, LA9, LA1, LA2, LA3, and LA4.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer.

• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent).

• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent).

• Valid UK Driving Licence.

• Must pass a DBS check.

• Indefinite right to work in the UK; this role does not qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.

• Commitment to a safety-first approach.

• Capability to adhere to health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company policies.

• Competence in managing stock, tools, and the company vehicle.

• Willingness to engage in ongoing technical training and mentoring.

• Commercial experience is not mandatory.
