
Dual Credit Adjunct Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• This role is designated for dual credit faculty at our affiliated high schools.
• Faculty members are tasked with creating lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to effectively deliver course material in their academic units.
• Faculty will instruct courses across various specialties.
• Maintain consistent office hours for student advising.
• Engage in events and initiatives aimed at achieving departmental and divisional recruitment and retention objectives.
• Accept roles on committees, sponsor student activities, and actively participate in university life.
• Uphold the institution’s Christian mission, including attendance at chapel services, scheduled or called meetings, commencement ceremonies, and Faculty Forum meetings.
• Serve as a Christian role model for students.
• Exhibit a strong passion for knowledge acquisition and share insights with students and colleagues.
• Advocate for the discipline both on and off campus, attracting students to the field.
• Maintain connections with alumni and the community.
• Participate in academic unit meetings and collaborate with fellow faculty members.
• Align with professional organizations and professionals within the discipline across all educational levels.
• Assist in recruiting new faculty members within the academic unit.
• Support the Dean in preparing class schedules and materials for the University Bulletin Catalog.
• Be familiar with library resources and identify deficiencies, planning improvements according to budget allocations.
• Aid in the development of syllabi for courses in the discipline.
• Contribute to the preparation of requests for foundation grants.
• Support students by consistently monitoring and evaluating their progress, making appropriate referrals to academic and personal support services as required to address student needs.
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching.
• Act as an academic advisor.
