Drywall Finisher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Apply tape, compound, and finishing materials to drywall joints, corners, and fasteners.

• Prepare surfaces for painting and final finishes by sanding and smoothing drywall compound.

• Repair imperfections and ensure high-quality finishes that align with project specifications.

• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.

• Uphold Maxan quality standards throughout all phases of finishing work.

• Work safely using ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms when necessary.

• Ensure that personal and site safety is prioritized at all times.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

• Communicate effectively with General Superintendents, Foremen, and crew members.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Taper / Drywall Finisher in ICI construction.

• Strong understanding of drywall finishing techniques, materials, and industry best practices.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools utilized in drywall finishing.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Capability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints.

• Valid Working at Heights certification.

• Valid Elevated Work Platform training certificate.

• Valid Powder Actuated Tools training certificate.

• WHMIS certification and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps.

• Reliable transportation to various job sites in the London area.
