Drupal 10 Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the client’s International Protection in Europe (DIP) system and associated artefacts.

• Handle installation, support, and security-related upgrades of Drupal websites within EUAA’s environments.

• Develop custom modules, plugins, templates, and other tailored functionalities.

• Ensure the consistency of the logical and physical structures of Drupal websites, including web pages and navigation methods.

• Offer support before, during, and after the deployment or implementation of new features.

• Conduct internal training sessions related to the system(s), as required.

• Assist during testing procedures when necessary.

• Create and maintain technical and system documentation.

• Integrate the system(s) with other Drupal systems and third-party custom applications, platforms, or services.

• Migrate data from SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019 to Drupal.

• Administer, configure, support, and maintain the application(s) and the underlying infrastructure.

• Contribute to the implementation and documentation of controls and processes for proactive maintenance.

• Perform any additional tasks within the scope of maintenance, implementation, and bug fixing for Drupal-based applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Software/App Developer working in Drupal environments (versions - Drupal 10 and 11).

• Proficient coding skills in PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery for Drupal customization.

• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming languages.

• Experience working with SQL (MSSQL and MySQL) databases.

• Knowledge of Asynchronous JavaScript and XML programming.

• Experience with POI, Jasper reports, and MSSQL Reporting engine software packages.

• Skills in website development, management, and support.

• Proficient in JavaScript ES6 and jQuery.

• Understanding of web technologies and web design (e.g., JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS).

• Experience in building and maintaining progressive web applications.

• Familiarity with front-end and back-end technologies.

• Knowledge of Azure.

• Experience in building and consuming web services and APIs.

• Understanding of SQL Server database structures.

• Knowledge of information management technologies and platforms, particularly Drupal.
