Draftsperson, Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Transform approved designs, selections, and internal annotations into executable drawing sets.

• Revise and keep up-to-date floor plans, elevations, sections, and cabinetry designs.

• Create precise electrical layouts along with window and door schedules.

• Oversee revision drawings and enforce rigorous version control across all documents.

• Ensure all documentation complies with NCC Class 1A standards and internal company protocols.

• Maintain structured file systems and follow naming conventions and issuing procedures.

• Address internal drawing inquiries from production or management teams within one business day.

• Engage in internal clarification meetings to guarantee drafting precision.

• Work collaboratively with the Design Manager to ensure all drawings meet quality and constructability criteria.

• Comply with company templates and data security measures for all project documentation.

• Track and adhere to deadlines for drawing submissions and minor adjustments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Drafting, Building Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in residential drafting.

• Advanced skills in Revit.

• Comprehensive understanding of the NCC and Australian building regulations.

• Excellent written English skills for documentation purposes.

• Capability to create production-ready documentation from existing templates.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on balancing accuracy and buildability.

• Experience with modular, prefabricated, or transportable building projects (Nice-to-Have Skills).

• Intermediate skills in Enscape for 3D rendering (Nice-to-Have Skills).

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for PDF annotations (Nice-to-Have Skills).

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Google Drive (Nice-to-Have Skills).
