Drafter I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Generate elevations for precast products

• Design sets for engineers

• Create an approval set for client review

• Prepare final sets for implementation in the field, along with production drawings

• Arrange precast units to align with plans, specifications, addenda, and bid packages

• Suggest efficient and cost-effective panel layouts

• Engage with external parties such as Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors

• Record any modifications or issues and communicate them to the project team

• Contribute ideas to enhance processes and assist in the development of standards

⛳️ Requirements

• A two (2) year technical college degree in a construction-related field, particularly in drafting, or equivalent experience

• Capable of interpreting blueprints, customer sketches, and specifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD or a similar program

• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all internal and external stakeholders

• Willingness to work beyond a 40-hour work week when necessary
