Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create detailed and assembly drawings of design components utilizing computer-assisted tools or conventional drafting methods.

• Collaborate with engineers to understand design concepts and establish the specific requirements for working drawings.

• Access project files in the database library, upload programs to the computer, and log completed job information.

• Analyze electronic, electrical, and structural schematics along with supporting documentation to formulate, compute, and verify drafting specifications.

• Evaluate logic-element configurations against engineering schematics and compute figures for conversion, redesign, and modification of elements.

• Assess work orders and procedural manuals, and engage with vendors and design teams to address issues and adjust designs accordingly.

• Inspect blueprints to ascertain customer specifications and consult with assemblers regarding schematics.

• Produce computer diagrams of final layout designs for layered photo masks and photo plotting designs.

• Develop proposal schematics in alignment with governmental standards and consult with key personnel concerning desired modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 4–9 years of professional experience.

• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Capability to sit for extended periods.

• Capability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to move around an office and between multiple buildings.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.
