Donor Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• This role demands the ability to engage in meaningful conversations and deliver exceptional customer service to donors on the NMDP registry who are being asked to help save a patient's life.

• The position involves utilizing investigative skills alongside information from NMDP systems to identify and reach out to donors.

• Key responsibilities include accessing data from NMDP systems, confirming interest, evaluating health conditions, updating donor demographics, and managing all related records and documentation accordingly.

• Additional tasks may include scheduling laboratory tests, ordering and dispatching donor kits, obtaining consent, and ensuring donor follow-through.

• A commitment to protecting member confidentiality and identity is essential.

• This role contributes to achieving departmental objectives through accountability, outstanding customer service, and excellent time management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in human services or a related Health Care field is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience demonstrating effective communication skills with individuals or coaching individuals on behavior modification is required.

• Experience in customer relations, direct patient interaction, or care within a clinical/healthcare environment can substitute for behavioral coaching experience for up to three years.

• Proficiency in basic word processing and data entry is essential.

• Familiarity with MS Office, including basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software application skills, is required.

• The ability to proficiently apply computer skills while engaging with customers simultaneously is necessary.

• Advanced internet research capabilities, including an understanding of social media, are essential.
