Donor Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture relationships with donors to enhance mission impact and drive revenue growth in the market.

• Meet revenue targets through engagement with current and potential donors as well as DIY fundraising events.

• Partner with market leadership to implement event strategies and engage volunteers effectively.

• Oversee a portfolio of donors and contribute to the overall success of the market.

• Ensure data accuracy and positively influence donor retention rates.

• Deliver top-notch fundraising events that create impact and boost revenue.

• Articulate March of Dimes' mission and align donor interests with the organization's goals.

• Implement donor stewardship practices to enhance year-over-year revenue growth.

• Organize DIY events and customize donor experiences to meet their needs.

• Lead event teams for the March for Babies initiative.

• Sustain a continuous revenue pipeline throughout the year.

• Identify and manage volunteer positions for event committees.

• Coordinate with Centralized Logistics to ensure successful virtual and in-person events, programs, and meetings.

• Uphold data integrity in CRM/FRED and record all donor interactions.

• Collaborate with Centralized Logistics and Finance on invoicing, collections, and allocation of sponsorship funds.

• Report directly to the Executive Director.

• Must be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated success in planning and executing effective events.

• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.

• A four-year college degree is preferred.
