Document Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Document Reviewers will be responsible for evaluating documents related to complex litigation cases using an electronic review platform to determine their relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege status.

• This role is project-based, with successful candidates classified as temporary contingent employees.

• Flexible scheduling is available; candidates must commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week, working between 7 AM and 7 PM from Monday to Thursday, and 7 AM to 5 PM on Fridays.

• Overtime opportunities may arise depending on the specific demands of individual projects, at the discretion of the end client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in and work from the state of Mississippi.

• An active license to practice law is required, and candidates must be in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Preferred candidates will have experience in electronically reviewing documents for complex litigation matters, utilizing various review platforms such as Nebula and Relativity.

• Experience in reviewing and coding documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege is preferred.

• Familiarity with quality control processes and the preparation of privilege and redaction logs is desired.

• A secure home office equipped with high-speed internet access and a computer running Windows 11 or Mac: Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15), Tahoe (26), or a newer version is required.

• A phone or tablet with Apple OS version 16 or later, or Android OS version 12 or later is necessary.

• Proficiency in modern technology, particularly computers and remote work equipment, is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are crucial.

• Candidates must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to understand complex work directives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
