This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the firm’s leading authority on document automation solutions, processes, and best practices.
• Aid in the firm’s document automation strategy by offering insights on technologies, process enhancements, workflow optimization, and scalable solutions.
• Engage in the assessment, implementation, and continuous enhancement of document automation platforms and associated technologies.
• Discover opportunities to boost efficiency, consistency, accuracy, and scalability through document automation.
• Set standards and best practices for automated document creation, template upkeep, and workflow management.
• Design, configure, and oversee integrations between Salesforce, document automation platforms, document storage solutions, and other business applications.
• Create and support API-driven workflows for document generation, data synchronization, and process automation.
• Configure and troubleshoot REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and integration endpoints.
• Define and manage data mappings, transformation rules, validation logic, and synchronization processes across various systems.
• Collaborate with both internal and external technology partners to implement and support integration solutions.
• Monitor and address integration failures, API challenges, data quality issues, and workflow exceptions.
• Design, create, test, and maintain automated document templates and workflows.
• Convert legal, operational, and business requirements into scalable document automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain intricate document templates utilizing conditional logic, calculations, dynamic content, and business rules.
• Configure and manage document generation workflows to facilitate legal and operational processes.
• Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance to guarantee document accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
• Maintain and enhance a growing repository of automated documents and templates.
• Work closely with attorneys, legal staff, operations leaders, and business stakeholders to comprehend document requirements, workflows, and business processes.
• Collaborate with software developers, Salesforce administrators, and technology stakeholders to facilitate efficient integration between document automation platforms and Salesforce, as well as other business systems.
• Define data requirements, mapping necessities, and workflow dependencies for document generation processes.
• Assist with user training, adoption, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Document business processes, automation workflows, template logic, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance, adoption, and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, minimize manual effort, and enhance the user experience.
• Research emerging document automation technologies and industry best practices.
• Suggest improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• 3+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, or managing document automation, document assembly, or document generation solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining complex document templates and workflows.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into technical or system-based solutions.
• Strong grasp of workflow automation, business rules, conditional logic, and process optimization.
• Experience working with structured data sources and business systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with document automation platforms like Conga Composer, Drawloop, Formstack Documents, DocuSign Gen, HotDocs, Contract Express, XpressDox, Gavel, or similar solutions.
• Experience integrating document generation platforms with Salesforce, CRM systems, case management systems, document management systems, or other business systems.
• Experience working with APIs, data mapping, structured data, and system integrations.
• Experience in legal technology, legal operations, or professional services environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, workflow automation platforms, and cloud-based business applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale document generation or workflow automation initiatives.
