This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Oversee all docketing requests within the assigned group and ensure deadlines are met promptly.
• Examine filed documents and written docketing requests to recognize and record all deadlines.
• Conduct limited research as necessary to confirm the relevance of deadlines by reviewing court and agency websites and dockets.
• Maintain regular communication with case teams to collect additional information essential for accurate case docketing.
• Verify the precision of docketed items and deadlines produced by the docketing software.
• Ensure the correctness of case information and timekeepers for each case.
• Prepare and distribute docket reports for case teams.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation docketing using docketing software.
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process, including court rules and procedures.
• Familiarity with federal and state court systems, as well as arbitration, mediation, and administrative government agencies.
• Proficient in docketing software, ideally Aderant’s CompuLaw and/or Milana.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively communicate with end users and other departmental staff members.
