This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Lead and enhance the Ocular Health Pharma Field Sales team to improve overall performance and ensure consistent execution in the field.
• Conduct impactful training and development sessions, while managing the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing skill advancement of sales personnel.
• Utilize business planning, market insights, and customer knowledge to create and implement sales strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive the achievement of sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance, keeping track of key account metrics, and communicating progress through clear and timely monthly and quarterly reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and decision-makers across accounts to enhance understanding of treatment algorithms, business dynamics, and customer requirements.
• Handle client inquiries, resolving sales-related challenges, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Identify potential accounts, conducting outreach activities, and discovering new growth opportunities within the territory.
• Stay informed about market changes by performing ongoing market research, keeping up with industry trends, and participating in relevant industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to create compliant promotional materials, support field initiatives, and coordinate pricing or contract discussions with finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory expectations across all business activities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent number of years of directly related experience (or high school +13 years; Associate's +9 years; Master's +2 years)
• 5 years of proven experience in the field
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Valid driving license – category B
• Experience and/or exposure in other functional areas of the business (e.g., Sales Training, Customer Solutions, Sales Operations, Managed Care, and Marketing)
• Previous experience in launching new products is preferred
• Ophthalmic sales or relevant ophthalmic experience is preferred
• Established working relationships with top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Excellent communication skills, encompassing written, oral, and presentation abilities
• Strong capability to assess and develop talent
• Critical thinking skills, with a strategic mindset and robust business acumen
