Diversion Control Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Supports the execution and management of the Diversion Control Program.

• Performs investigative research utilizing the Internet and public record databases.

• Conducts Customer Due Diligence (DD) and Suspicious Order Monitoring (SOM) investigations.

• Monitors and modifies customer OMP parameters in accordance with Diversion Control Program policies as necessary.

• Serves as a liaison and maintains communication with Sales and Customer Maintenance departments regarding diversion control issues as needed.

• Acts as a point of contact with compliance teams at distribution centers.

• Generates and reviews statistical reports monthly as instructed.

• Aids in preparation for DC pre-audits and interviews with state and federal regulators.

• Assists with targeted, on-site pharmacy visits as assigned.

• Facilitates internal training for associates on the Diversion Control Program for other ABC business units as assigned.

• Carefully organizes and documents all investigative and due diligence results for future reference as required by regulatory authorities.

• Collaborates with colleagues and directors to clarify responsibilities and expectations.

• Records all work systematically and promptly for future reference.

• Willingness to travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Requires comprehensive training in areas such as criminal justice, business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer science, or similar fields typically achieved through the completion of a four-year degree program or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Generally requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with a preference for familiarity with SAP.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent research capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
