This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Guarantees that all centers deliver exceptional care for our guests, ensuring outstanding customer service that emphasizes integrated, personalized, and connected care through efficient and productive teams.
• Performs a minimum of monthly practice visits or more frequently as needed to assess overall success.
• Continuously oversees daily operations and strategic initiatives that enhance revenue within the designated District.
• Collaborates with Practice/Hospital Leadership and/or District Veterinary Directors.
• Manages scheduling to ensure that center leaders create effective staff/doctor schedules to meet the demands of clients, pets, staff, and business requirements.
• Works in partnership with Recruiting and Practice/Hospital Leadership on doctor recruitment, retention, support, and compensation.
• Analyzes financial reports and statistics from each location, including profit & loss statements, doctor production reports, and other Key Performance Indicators, using insights to guide business plans and pinpoint growth opportunities across the Practice/Hospital Leadership team.
• Inspires and coaches Practice/Hospital leadership while celebrating team achievements.
• Evaluates and reports on the results of operational processes that directly influence the success of assigned practices.
• Ensures the completion of district quarterly inventory.
• Properly reinforces all training, safety, and service programs established by Destination Pet.
• Ensures center compliance with federal and local labor laws, including DEA, EEOC, ADA, Fair Labor Practices, radiation safety, OSHA, HAZMAT, etc.
• Conducts weekly calls with district leadership to review performance and discuss strategic initiatives.
• Implements a one-on-one approach for individual growth plans and management development opportunities.
• Collaborates with the practice management team to identify and execute additional revenue-generating initiatives.
• In conjunction with the Practice Management Staff, inspects buildings and properties, recommending and reporting necessary facility repairs and improvements to maintain a safe environment.
• Partners with center/practice management and safety leadership to monitor and assist with safety, emergency, and crisis situations.
• Resolves all customer and staff complaints that are not addressed at the center level.
• Engages with and treats customers, guests, visitors, and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assumes operational oversight, upholding exceptional facility standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Fosters a pervasive culture of safety, instilling a sense of vigilance and care among all team members.
• Accepts and executes any additional responsibilities as required by the evolving needs of the organization.

• Demonstrated flexibility in scheduling, including availability during evenings and weekends to serve as on-call emergency support.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong passion for animals, displaying an enthusiastic and caring demeanor, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a veterinary care environment.
• Basic knowledge of Veterinary Center practices.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
• Skilled in task prioritization and delegation based on specific situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Experience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
• 1+ year of management experience in a multi-unit setting and/or a strong demonstration of previous management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Required travel of 50%-75%, including overnight stays.
• Must frequently lift 40 pounds.
• Must be able to engage in frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be capable of working in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
